So you want to turn your 1GZ to over 10,000rpm? and you also want to put some boost in it to push 1,200+hp?
While you might need to check your sanity, you are definitely going to need some Forged Connecting Rods.
These are our custom made connecting rods to suit our Forged pistons.
Made from forged 4340 steel, these are the same Conrods we use in our own 1GZ builds that regularly see over 10,000rpm and 1200+hp.
We didn't just copy the standard Conrod length and make a piston to suit... these are made to a custom length (138mm) to suit the kinds of RPM and loads that we like to see out of our 1GZ's, this meant we were able to push the wrist pin higher up into the piston, reducing the conrod angle.
Assembled with 3/8UNF ARP2000 rod bolts to ensure they are plenty strong enough. We also machined the big end tunnel to suit a commonly available performance bearing.
