Made out of Billet 6061 T6 Aluminium, we had a few justifications for putting these into production:
*The standard Cam Covers are ugly. *These cam covers are light weight. *They are made to match genuine Denso Coil Over Plug coils (active coils, suitable for wasted spark, ECUs without igniters, and as much power as you want). *And, we wanted the look of our engines to match the performance... these really set it off.
When we started our first 1GZ project back in 2017, our goal wasn't just big Horse Power number (anyone can do that... just add more boost right?). We wanted an engine with amazing dynamics, instant throttle response and a raw, emotional experience.
We got some of our inspiration from the glory years of F1... the V12 Era.
The look of the engine was as important as the sound, the performance, and the experience.
*Made and designed in-house in New Zealand.
*Shipped assembled as a pair, with O-ring, Plug tube seals, fasteners, 2x -10 AN breather fittings, 1x -16 AN bung (oil filler for those running wet sump), 14mm hex key-ring (Race engines don't have oil filler caps!)
*When ordered with Denso Coils (we have plenty of stock... this is a common coil we use on lots of our engines) they will also come with the coil fasteners.
